Born and raised in the Seattle area, I worked full-time to put myself through school, both times. I started at a small retail corporation as the network administrator, working in an early Novell environment and then moved on to a more dynamic position at an advertising agency. After obtaining my bachelor’s degree, I changed jobs again, ending up at the Seattle Housing Authority, where I am still currently employed.

After obtaining my Master’s degree, I have focused more of my energy on the management aspects of running an IT department and less on the technical. However, I do consider myself very hands-on and always willing to help out when necessary.

In my free time, I enjoy horseback riding (dressage, stadium jumping and cross-country, specifically) and my husband and I try to travel whenever possible.
